Could Sea Pods/Cities be a great starting point for an Island Adventure?

Hello everyone, so as I try to motivate others to participate in the amazing Tropical Post-Apocalyptic Story Contest, I stumble upon various videos that give me some ideas. One such video is the one below:

Question of the Week #151 (More NS)

Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week. Admittedly I've had a hard time figuring out questions to ask and the fact that I've been wotking on other non mlp related projects doesn't help much either.

I've been having trouble focusing on my mlp projects as of late. I've even been having trouble working on Act 3, so I've decided to try to read through the whole story so far.

    Apologizes...

Sorry for not being frequent with my Questions of the Week. I've been busy with some projects as well as homebrewing DnD 5e content. :twilightblush:

Yeah, that's not a great excuse, but it is what it is.

Hopefully I'll have an idea for a question or two later (that's the other problem, thinking of questions I haven't already asked), we'll see. :rainbowwild:

Question of the Week #97 · 2:28am Mar 15th, 2023

Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.

I'm not sure how many of you saw this, but I posted an update blog last week on my Neo Somnambula story. So, feel free to go check it. :raritywink:

As you can probably guess this section, the following question(s) will pertain to this story.

  1. If you were to go to a cyberpunk red light district, what would you do first (try to keep yoyr response teen rated at most :twilightblush:)?
  2. If you were to bump into a griffin (in said red light district), selling some adult rated VR-games/simulations, would you rather it be: Gilda or an adult Gallus?

Well, hopefully you all have fun answering those questions (and don't hate my guts). :rainbowlaugh:

May you all stay safe and have a wonderful week.

For 2: "Gallus" literally means rooster... or, more pertinently to this discussion, cock. :trollestia:

For 1), an arcade where you go into a booth, put on VR glasses, and call out the mare or stallion you want to see dance suggestively in front of you. Calling out a new name causes a new dancer to strut to the foreground. After 10 minutes, the image freezes and a message pops up: "Would you like to continue? Say 'yes' to charge your credstick 15 credits for an additional 10 minutes or 35 credits for an additional 30 minutes.

Gilda would probably be more canon-friendly; she was trying to sell griffon scones to move out, so I could see her trying to sell something she knows will sell to make some quick cash.

If it includes trying to live in a distopian world like Cyperpunk 2077, I believe a fair amount of those workers would involuntarily also act as unofficial therapist. (Based on internet research. Specifically reddit's "ask reddit" about those worker's experience.)

Gosh, even in our society, we got a lot of mental problems as is. I can't imagine how much more pervasive the issue would be in such distopian nature.

As for the "braindance", why not both? In such a future, genders would be equivalent to preferring apples to oranges on the day itself. Though... the saying that "guys do it better than gals" tend to hold true here too.

Just look Rome's guys only "harem"

5718186 So, maybe I should clarify. This isn't a brain dance of either Gilda or Gallus, but one of them being a street vendor selling brain dances. :rainbowlaugh:

Guys only harem?

Ah. In that case, both of those Tom and Hen are suitable for the role. I may be more biased to Gallus though, maybe because the fandom sometimes depict him as that kind of easy going.

I had assumed these two were the Braindances because that red light distract in the game had a male and female just down a street from each other that are interactable.

And that Rome joke... well, I lost the meme and it also got lost in translation but it goes something like this: Greeks invented harem 700BC. Women were invited 600BC.
