Today I learned that my dear friend Mythy or as you would know him TheMyth has passed beyond our world... I don't really know what to say... I wasn't expecting this...Not at all and I have spent much of the last hour or so since learning in tears... He was a dear beloved friend and I am devastated that I won't hear any more of his story ideas or see him...pop up on discord to say hi... All I can do is fill to him the parting glass.

I say this a lot, and I'll keep asking it; why is it that awesome people always have to die? It's always the fantastic people that need to have turmoil happen to them. Like, the wicked ones, of course, they're just peachy, right? Nothing bad ever happens to them.
People keep dropping like flies, and I have difficulty believing this should be normal. I cannot accept that. My condolences go to those afflicted and the victim himself.

I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I read his story Longing when I was first entering this fandom, and I enjoyed it quite a lot. The fact that both of its authors are no longer with us — and before either of their times, no less — is equal parts sobering and horrifying.
