Not happy with the reception my story is getting. · 7:01pm Apr 19th, 2023
So, it’s been a day since ‘Princess Cadance and the Canine Club’ dropped and it’s getting downvoted to Hell; a far more negative reception than my other two bestiality stories got.
But I’m not so arrogant to assume that the fault lies with the readers, no I blame myself. I probably screwed up somewhere when writing it and deserve the negative reviews.
So I have to ask: what did I do wrong in this story and how do I improve going forward? Be brutally honest, I need the feedback.
I haven't read it yet, but most likely it was bad timing when the story released.

Ratings often depend on what audience is on the site at the time, if a fic is released at a time when the audience isn't receptive it's difficult to build momentum.
I have not read it yet, so I can't say for certain.
But most likely are people see bestial and are like downvote without even reading it.
I have one story where the downvote me to death despite it bei g rather good in content.
I know 2-4 people that downvote me in comment section when they care to just for fun.
Trolls, hater of certain categories and bigotry or envy is most likely your story's downvote problem.
You could have given us starwars episode 1-3, but because certain words trigger certain reactions...

Stories like this usually receive most of their downvotes in the first day or two, while upvotes slowly arrive for weeks. Listen to feedback, but don't take the current score as an indication that your story is a failure.
