Chapter Delay: Minor Pet Emergency · 1:36pm Jun 16th, 2023
Hey gang.
Chapter might be a bit late this week--I don't have time to do my full editing pass because we have a minor kitty-cat emergency. Our trash-eater of a cat managed to get into stuff yesterday, and now has the unfortunate reality of about four inches of a foot long piece of shoelace sticking out of his back-door, as it were. As such, we've had to rearrange our day for an emergency vet appointment, to make sure he's okay and to deal with his little shoelace issue. I love this little furball, but I really really wish he wasn't one of those cats who think that the most ritzy meal in the world comes from knocking over the trash can and fishing through it for garbage. Not even food garbage. Actual trash. We've stopped bringing small ziploc bags downstairs because he tries to EAT them.
Anyway, I'm on cat-watch right now while the spouse showers, so we can take our fluffy idiot to the vet for some x-rays and string retrieval. Not sure how this is gonna go, so...preempting things right now. I'll get to the chapter as soon as I'm able.
