    Commisions

To improve my skills as a writer, as well as make a little money on the side, I've decided to start doing commissions. I figured the price would be at $.02 a word, I would ask for half up front, send them half of the completed story, and if the person commissioning me likes the work, I'll take the rest and let them have the other half of the story. If they don't like it, I can change something about it up to twice for free. After that, either they keep the half-done work and not pay the rest, or I could charge an additional fee to continue to do reworks.

But I don't know where or how to advertise.

Can any pony help me out?

The best way you can do this, I find, is to mention it in your stories. That or join groups that cater to the types of stories that you want to write and then post a blog stating you are doing commissions before adding a link to your main blog.

I would also like to make a few suggestions. Most people prefer going by 1k. Like for example $10 for very 1k, Also a list of things and characters you are willing to do as well as a 'forbidden' list. It helps let people know what you are comfortable with.
