Trigger Happy - An update on my progress · 10:46am Sep 2nd, 2023
Hello fellow readers!
It's... been a while. Yes, last time I was here I'd gone for a hiatus after finishing up Trial 2 almost 5 months ago. In retrospect, taking a long break from writing was definitely something I needed, as otherwise I was in danger of burning out. This last month or so I started dipping into work on Trigger Happy once again, looking to get back in the game.
Now, here's the part where I wish I could say that I already have every last tiny detail figured out beforehand and could just transcribe my thoughts onto the page, but when figuring things out for Trial 3 I realized there were more than a few factors that I had to be wary of. I've already known the gist of it, but when trying to plan out specific things it became apparent that I had my work cut out for me, and not only would I need to be careful with the trial itself, but also with getting all the pieces in play before getting there. I already suffered a small oversight in Trial 2 (As was noticed by Maud of Sterner Stuff and hastily corrected by me.) and knew I couldn't afford for the same thing to happen again. And that's not even to speak of various other bits and pieces that pertain to the overarching story. It's going to be.. tough. But I'll get there.
That is to say I am back in the driving seat, so to speak, but ask for you all to hang on for a while longer before I start uploading. If I don't get all this stuff figured out way in advance and set out a robust plan, it could lead to a plethora of problems. I'm hoping you'll be along for the ride as I'm excited as ever and committed to finishing this story. (Once again, why do I try to be so ambitious? lol) I just hope I can make it as good as it can possibly be.
Here's hoping I can get my rear in gear, and apologies for having such a slow upload speed. 
(And no, I didn't name a character Patience just to take the piss while you all have to wait. But it works though, right?)
