And we're back. How've you all been? Today I wanted to talk about heartbreak since it's a big part of BD... or at least it's gonna have to be, I suppose. I mean it's not like everyone can just be happy in the end, especially with everyone interested in everyone else.
Particularly, I'm talking about romantic heartbreak. I've only ever experienced it once, and I can't for sure say I was even in love. I don't think I was... but I did like the girl. We were very close for a while and she was clearly interested... at least I thought she was until I found out she was actually going behind my back with someone else. Funny thing is, I don't know if I was the second or the first... yeesh that was not a fun time. I remember I was really unhappy for a while, but I got over it pretty quickly. I guess that's why I don't think I'd gotten my heart broken. I can only imagine how awful that would be.
Which brings me to the girls. From what we've got right now...
Twilight has something of an interest in Starlight.
Sunset obviously likes Twilight.
Starlight appreciates what both girls have done for her, but is more inclined toward Sunset because of her efforts.
Celestia believes Luna may have feelings for Twilight.
Oh and Cadance and Shining Armor are making their appearances... you know Starlight is gonna have some fun with that.
And that brings me to the heartbreak. I wonder who will end up devastated. The easy obvious way out would be to have Luna and Twilight be a couple and Sunset and Starlight be a couple. Ehhhhhh, I've never liked taking the easy way out, so don't expect that. There's gonna be a lot more drama and a lot more awkwardness. (And hopefully some more heartfelt moments)
Anyway, it's Nightmare Night season so I'm gonna put out my first one-shot this Friday. It's called Family is Everything, and I think it's pretty... interesting? Lol it was written with a lot of anger at the show, (whoa big surprise Hoofprintz is mad at the canon again) but I had to write it. Too strong of feelings to keep them in. Hopefully, some of y'all like it. (Or at least read it)
I also have 3 more coming out by the big day, so look forward to those if you like horror-ish stories.

You may be right. Luna has definitely taken more of a protector role than one of equality.
This is a hard choice… Darn it! I’m thinking about this, and now I feel like this is going to boil over in like 15+ chapters and everyone will suffer.
I love Twiluna, but I feel like this story showed them feelings to be mostly one sided, Twilight seems to absolutely worship Luna, while Luna is trying to comfort her like a true mother, as another commenter pointed out below.
Sunny and Twi works pretty well, it has a pretty good narrative connection too. Basically everything is nice and dandy… Apart from Glimmy being alone but yeah.
Starlight could work with anyone honestly, don’t have to say anything else I think.
I have fallen sick, so I don’t want to go into detail on this stuff at the moment, waking up like 1 hour ago could also be a reason, and honestly I believe you will most likely create a better solution than I think I would. So au revoir.

There's a LOT to come. Like I said, we're entering the Crystal Empire arc and there's gonna be a lot of stuff happening. We may even see an insignificant insect get squashed.

I was a bit too old for Doug by that time. As for the Nickelodeon version, what strikes me is that it was made with a lot of heart--just some young professionals with their audience's good side in mind. Same could be said for Rugrats and Hey Arnold. And same for the first few seasons of FiM, some years later.
