My Grandpa Died This Morning · 7:08pm Oct 14th, 2023
I just found out that my paternal grandpa died this morning. He had been battling with terminal cancer for months now and was at the point where he couldn't eat normal food, could barely talk, and couldn't walk without help. I know you can't tell, but as of the time typing this, I'm fighting back tears in my eyes. I'm not sure if this will affect me putting out more story chapters, but I'm gonna try my best.

Not really. Everyone else in my family was there with him in his final moments while I had school and work, so I couldn't be there. I should have been there for him and I wasn't. That will haunt me for the rest of my life.

Same here, I wasn’t there for his final moments, but I enjoyed the time I got to spend with him, even if that was limited due to Parkinson’s. Whenever I get sad that he is no longer with the us, I think about the happy times I have with him. Of course I don’t think that will help completely, but it may be a bit comforting.
