tbh, i'm still shock how well it did. guessing ppl wanted a story like this, following different versions of Twi and Dash 
even more shock, i'm not even a great writer. i'm very bad, poor grammar and how my writing style isn't the norm and english being my second language doesn't help lol
started using a grammar bot now but saw that it made new errors, so going through each fic and fixing them. wish me luck and next chapter of "our name" will be out later this week
but here's a quick reason why alt.U Twi and Dash were those characters from other media or tropes
Rain Dash-Yoko Littner
I'm a big GL fan and I wanted a character in this fic because of "Believe in yourself. Not in you who believes in me. Not in me who believes in you. Believe in yourself!" line but I also didn't want another twi(wanted a balance group of twi's and dash's), so I went with Dash and combining Simon and Yoko, making Rain. She's the "believe in yourself" for the twins
Terra Spark- Sarah Kerrigan
Big Starcraft fan and was gonna be Brig(Terra version of Raynor) but went with Terra because I wanted a character who had a hard life before meeting the one that pretty much gave them joy in their life and reason to keep going. sarah was like that when she met raynor, she opened up to him and Terra also has a bit of Nova in her as well, being cold or a downer. She's the "your not a monster, you have regrets. as long you have those feelings, you can move forward and never be a monster" to the twins
Flash-basically DBZ and any anime tropes lol
Flash is basically the MC dumb dumb that loves fighting and believes in friendship and so on. She's also slightly based off Goku. She's the "I'll gladly help a stranger in need. even if that makes me look like a idiot' to the girls.
Supermare/Flare-Superman/Powergirl
RD being mix of Superman and powergirl just works if you combined the two lol, She's the hope for the twins and saving and helping people
Blue Berry-all magical girl tropes
Berry is based off all any magical girl show ever(well, the ones i seen). She's the one to teach the girls about being Brave, not for yourself but for others.
Dr. Wonder- Dr. Strange
Wanted a Marvel character because there is a DC character. I don't know much of Dr Strange other than the movies but Twi inspired by him works in my eyes. She's the "be yourself, don't let others change that." to the twins
Wanda-Winston
Look, I really love Winston backstory and both Winston and Twi being smart and friendly and also the big nerd that become awkward just fits. she's the one that teaches the girl about "don't stay in the past, look to the future"
Layla-Amiya
big Arknights fan and wanted donkey in this and I see Twi being her. she's the "let others in and become hope for others." for the twins
Eirika-All FE mc but mostly...Brave Eirika
Yeah, Eirika is based off all main lords from FE games but she's mostly based off on B. Eirika lol She's the one to teach the girls about "keeping faith"
Aaira-Isaac
Love Deadspace and i really love 1 and 2 and isaac struggle in 2. Twi fits isaac better, as Dash was gonna be Aaira. she's the "don't let your guilt and sorrow leave a hole within you. accept what happen and move on" to the girls
Bolt and Heat-Sonic and Blaze
If I had a nickel for every time i ship a purple and blue characters together, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
no really, really look at it. Dash and Twi are just Sonic and Blaze lmao
Bolt teaches the twins about "second chances and moving forward but with friends behind your back"
Heat is about "you are not alone. just ask for help" to the twins.
Sky and Nightfall-....
Yes, those twos are based off something. Won't say yet. its going ruin a future arc lol but i know someone most of had seen the lines in Sky fight with Beaker and said "hey, isn't that from 'blank'?"
