Finally...It Is Done · 5:02pm February 12th
After many nights of editing, scheming, and having the anxiety really kick in over "is this how you write other people's OCs?", I am proud to say that I have finally finished the fic for the Odd Squad Discord server's Valentine's Fic Exchange.
The problem, of course, is coming up with a witty title that references a PDFA PSA. And fretting over whether my recipient finds it good.
I mean...is it good to me? Not by a long shot. Quality-wise it's on par with The Grass is Always Greener. Is it for a lack of trying? Not by a long shot. I was handed a reference doc and I ran with it the best I could. But I really can't just sift through an entire Discord server that gets over 100 messages a day to find bits and pieces of lore and relatable memes. That's not a challenge to my ADD, that's just a straight insult.
Either way, the good news for you folks is that with the fic done, I'll be able to get back to writing ponefics sooner than I thought. And thank God too because I need to craft something for the Portal Transformations Contest before the inevitable last-minute rush sta-
...Oh.
I forgot I came up with a draft already.
Huh.
(Believe me, it won't be as bad as it looks. You'll still cringe, just...not full-body.)
