Did anyone actually ask for this?

So apparently Playtonic is remastering Yooka-Laylee.

Who asked for this? Who thought this was a good idea?

    A few things, Playtonic:

    1. This game is only seven years old.

Will try and get an update or two out soon, but...

...These next two weeks at work are going to be stressful as hell.

I just have to say one thing, just to get it off my chest.

If any of my readers are private health inspectors with standards higher than local laws, I just have this to say:

    That is all.

    Good night.

    Tell Your Tale: P + P = BFFs

This week, we've got a... Somewhat touching Posey episode?

Think this would benefit from a longer runtime. I also laughed harder than necessary at Izzy in the very beginning.

Believe it or not, I actually got some chores done today. · 6:07am May 20th

And that's saying something, because if Diablo IV was this good at any point last year, it would have definitely been near the top of my Best Games of 2023. You know, instead of being omitted entirely.

So let's just say that Armored Core VI absolutely just got smacked out of the running for Best Yesteryear Game.

As much as I enjoyed AC6 it shouldn't have been goty. Many other years I'd give it consideration but 2023? Nah, there were too many top titles for it to even break top 3.

But it's your list so don't listen to me.

Best Yesteryear Game is something I didn't get to until the next year, or, in rare cases, something that was in such bad form at launch and was vastly improved by the next year.

shame that that's such a common thing now, isn't it?
I hate how releasing stuff in unfinished, poor quality or unoptimized states has become so common, hell it's become normal practice even.

Some titles end up pretty good with a year (or 3, looking at you Cyberpunk) development time after release. It's like companies don't even care about releasing quality anymore they just want the titles out and sold.

The Diablo IV open beta hooked me incredibly fast last May.

The game at launch was excellent up until endgame, when gear progression really became an issue (didn't find a better pair of boots for 15 levels). I quit at Lv 79.

Now I'm level 74 on a new character, and haven't had any gearing issues so far.
