RIP Martin Mull

Today we pay our respects to American actor, comedian and musician Martin Mull who passed away at age 80 at home on June 27th, after a valiant fight against a long illness. He was most notably known for roles such as Colonel Mustard in the 1985 film Clue, Leon Carp on Roseanne, Willard Kraft on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Vlad Masters / Vlad Plasmius on Danny Phantom, and Gene Parmesan on Arrested Development. He even had a recurring role on Two and a Half Men as Russell, the drug-using, humorous pharmacist.

I enjoyed watching Mull act as Willard Kraft on Sabrina seeing him make trouble for the teen witch while also trying to woo her Aunts Hilda and Zelda on different occasions. But I'll especially remember him voicing one of my fave villains on Nick as Vlad Plasmius on Danny Phantom.

I've never heard of Martin Mull, but I can already tell that he must've been quite talented.

Sadly, he wasn't the only one who passed away this month. Donald Sutherland died on June 20, 2024, while Bill Cobbs passed away on the 25th.
