Hello fellow bronies

I was thinking about something, does your family or friends know that your into this fandom? If not so why won't you them, what's the big deal? The reason I'm asking this is because a family member of mine recently found I watch MLP. It's hella embarrssing and I have rather have kept it a sercet but that turned out to be a fail. So my question is if your a closet brony are you willing to "come out" and tell everyone? Or no you would not ever do that. Also what was it coming out like with your close ones were they understanding or insulting? Thanks.

Lol, I got a funny story to tell...

October. Mah bronyism only a couple'a weeks old. It was Monday night, the start of the second week of school for that term. I'd hidden mah bronyism for a whole week of school, and I thought, buck it, I ain't gonna be closet, and I ponified mah laptop (everyone has one for school). Wallpapers, the Windows start-up screen was replaced with Fluttershy, the login screen got ponified, mah avatar for mah user got the NMM treatment, and... I installed a theme that replaced most of the sounds with things from the show (example, emptying the recycle bin had RD say "time to take out the adorable trash!"). Now, that night, I put mah laptop into SLEEP mode, and the next day in homegroup (class before lesson 1 where notices and the roll are done), I showed friend 2 mah ponies (he's like Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory, except average intelligence) then I turned mah computer OFF, intending to show him the start-up screen in the next class.

Now, that class was Biology. We were going to watch a movie about genetics. I started up mah laptop to take notes, showed friend 2 ponies, and logged in. Now, mah computer takes a while to log in, and in the meantime, the teacher was shushing everypony to be quiet. Took about thirty seconds, and everyone shut up the same time mah laptop loaded. Now... the speakers were on 70% (I checked later), and the computer was still 'loading', and being kinda unresponsive, when the MLP theme rang out across the classroom. "F***!" I muttered, and start mashing the mute button, but it's ineffective because the computer is still loading. I start holding down the power button, to instantly shut it down, but mah laughter keeps shaking mah finger off the button. The theme ended up playing about three quarters through before I successfully turned off the computer, of which by then, everyone was in hysterics (mahself included). Teacher wasn't impressed though.

Everyone was talking about it during recess, but by the time lunch came, no-one gave a s***, and still don't give a s*** that I'm a brony.

And that's the story of how EVERYONE in mah grade learned I was a brony.
