Why do they give us spoilers like this on fb? Where I can't avoid them? I didn't mind for "Keep Calm and Flutter On" because of Discord...but...why give me spoilers when I don't ask in the first place?
*sigh*
Well, we'll see what happens then. It could honestly mean anything.
EDIT: While I do think Twilight turning into an Alicorn would be bittersweet, I'm a little more annoyed about finding out spoilers to controversial things such as this. That's the point of this journal.

767284 My friend sent me a quote from one of the writers talking about this. After reading it, I can understand the reasons they did it, but I feel like it's maybe too soon and that it's honestly bittersweet.
The thing where it bothers me is more how many speculations will be shot down or will never be voiced. I mean, we ask the writers of the show to explain things...but isn't it sometimes more fun to make things up ourselves to fill in the gaps? That's all I really have to say. Sometimes it's just sad to think the questions will be answered.

If anything, it shows that Hasbro is willing to move forward to actually change the show the flow of time and to make things interesting. Do you remember ReBoot where little Enzo was banished from his home where he changed from a kind, innocent boy to a cruel, vengeful boy? Or how about Beast Wars where Optimums dies and is killed off from a time til he is revived once more. Or maybe in like Dragon Ball Z where new heroes and villains pop up where even the mightiest of heroes at their time has fallen (recall how Goku lost to Perfect Cell?) where of characters must taken the mantle to save the day?
If anything, it shows that Hasbro has some balls to create something new to show a pace where it proves that time is fluid and things...well move on. I applaud for the effort and I hope that they executed the episode well, like all things should, as it will change the world forever as soon things will be in the past... Time doesn't stand still no one at all.
So if you don't like it that's fine, you have no commitment to love every little thing that the show does, just don't all it to overwhelm you. So cheer up mates, and move forward. MLP only dies if we, the fans, believe it to be and leave the show to have it suffered a slow and painful death. Would be rather anti-climatic to what the community has been put though to show our love for the franchise and let it end just because one episode has proven too much for people to handle.
It's gonna be REALLY hard to continue the show after this, due to the fact that the show's point was to accompany Twilight as she learns on how TO HAVE FRIENDS.

They better have a plan for what to do next season with ultra overpowered Princess Twilight, then.
