You Know That Snowstorm That's Hitting New England Right Now? · 12:33am Feb 10th, 2013
Yeah. I'm in it.
You know that forecasted 2-3'?
I'm in that too.
You know what that means?
I'm screwed.
...
...
...
It's pretty amazing, too, cause I heard on the radio that many people were comparing it to the winter of '78.
And if you are old enough to remember that, you probably remember having a really bad time.
Electricity died, and the generator decided to die, too. (Lucky me.) So, I'm typing this at my neighbor's house. Where there is heat.
And an Xbox with CoD: BO2. Which isn't bad, when you think about it.
But do you know what's the worst?
There's a DRIVING BAN.
Yep. You heard me. Unless you have a specific reason for driving -- fire, medical, going to help, etc. -- it's punishable by a $500 fine and up to a year in prison. Which is crazy, if you ask me.
No, I don't mean the ban, I mean the prison time.
I just realized that I tell everything to you (that has to do with my life) either during or after the fact.
I should really work on that.
I AM CURRENTLY BREATHING
812299
SO B. IT
Snow. Snow everywhere.
812299 AW SHIT ME TOOO
812311 I AM CURRENTLY TYPING TO A PERSON WHO LIKES A THING NAMED AFTER A THING BECAUSE IT"S LIKE SAID SECOND THING
812318 AAAAHHHHHDFSGFHFJGKHJLHFD
812324 ERMAHGERD
812299 Oh my crap, we have so much in common!
I never even heard of a driving ban--maybe once, but overall, not really that big a deal. A bit over the top, but you know people. So melodramatic.
812339
You sound like you have experience.
812310
Yes. True Dat.
812311>>812318>>812324>>812328
Stop your incoherent blabbering.
812349 I refuse.
812339 And we also eat!
812349 But I love blabbering…
I lol'd
812349 Me? Experienced? Hell, no. I think maybe I heard of one once, ever, maybe. Maybe I'll reword that, hah.
I am currently in Florida right now enjoying 80 degree weather.

No, I mean about being melodramatic.
812479
Sharks? Crocodiles? Snakes? Killer Bees?
Texas bitches, it's either hot and cry or hell froze over, but we don't get that much snow
812318
NUU
Up here in Oregon,we never get snow. I am usually sad by this, but after reading your post...
I don't envy you.
813863 ... I have absolutely no clue what you're talking about! *sticks up nose in the air with a 'hmph!'*
Keep warm!
812356>>812357
I never said you had to stop . . .
814041
Texas scares me for some reason.
814249
Well, if you're prepared, snowstorms like these are awesome.
And we were prepared.
Until our generator decided to die on us.
So we basically partied at my neighbor's house, who a) is awesome and b) happens to have an awesome generator that can power his whole house and then some. We later invited a bunch of other families over, and we had an awesome time.
Envy much?
814267
ADMIT IT!!!
814344
Around twelve hours before, the power came back on.
We now have head and electricity.
So don't you worry -- I'm warm and toasty in this seat I'm sitting in.
I like trains.
818658 why? Is it the west nile?
818890
I'm going to assume you're talking about the Texas part.
No, I'm more afraid of the Mexican Mafia, and the killer heat, and tornadoes, and -- WAIT A SEC DID YOU JUST SAY WEST NILE!!?
I'M GOING TO STAY WHERE IT'S COLD, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
819007 Killer heat? it's only 100 degrees, gangs are only a problem if you live in the wrong neighborhood, and tornadoes aren't all that common. Mosquitoes aren't that bad in some places.
819029
I prefer cold over heat any day.
Still, just . . . no.
819034 oh pshaw
