59caddyel was cumbersome as all hell and I've been wanting to change my username on this site to something other than my catch-all standard account name since pretty much the day I signed up for this site. Finally did it. I am now Eldorado, Eternal Demon-Purple-God of Cadillacs, and you shall all bow before my glory shrug and say "cool story bro" and go about your lives.
In other news, I'm trying ("trying") to get back into writing regularly - got a few things I need to catch up on editing before their respective authors keelhaul me for the delays (sorry!), but after that I have a few ideas that inexplicably conked me on the noggin and shot me into space inspired me to write something again. So that's nice.

877489 I desperately want to resurrect US, but I've got ideas for a Fallout 3 crossover (which I'll admit was inspired by mai waifu's story "Thanatos' Creed" somewhat, or at least editing for it convinced me there was still originality to be squeezed out of the genre and inspired me to write my own entry) in which Queen Chrysalis goes to DC and is captured by the Enclave. Never seen a story where a villain gets crossed over, and I've certainly never seen one where the Enclave play a role like this. So it should be fun.
All I've got is the intro scene planned, and I'm hoping that actually writing it will rekindle my creative flames. Then I can push on with it, work on another idea I had, come up with entirely new ideas, or continue with US. Any of those above would make me happy. I miss writing so much.

I haven't been a fan of crossovers (then again, I've never read one), but I do love Fallout 3 (and New Vegas)

Your story premise sounds like it would be very interesting, to say the least. I would definitely read it, especially since I think the Enclave would probably want to study her for scientific (and perhaps evil) purposes.
I now want to play some New Vegas, and actually take sides with the Legion for once. My day-off boredom has been cured. Mad props to you for that, and all my internets.
877509 Please tell me you know the game and are familiar with it enough to lend some input. None of my friends play the game, and those few that do don't take it seriously and just play it as a dumb "fuck around" shooter. Then there's one guy I know who likes the game and takes it seriously, but he hasn't touched it in years and remembers nothing about it. Oh, by Cthulhu, do I want another voice of advice. Check this out. I'll go add in another post to the thread with the stuff I came up on my own after I realized that asking for help was a bust.
I don't particularly love crossovers, either, but I strongly love the idea of Chrysalis and Colonel Autumn interacting and doing stuff together.
Also I'm considering spinning this out into a trilogy where the first story is in DC, the second follows them venturing across America, and the finale takes place somewhere around New Vegas or similar (NCR proper? Arizona under Caesar's Legion?). Not sure how to do that, or if I even want to.

Maybe even have President Eden feeding them (dis)information, sending them on "quests" for his own personal gain? I know he's a computer program, but that just adds to the endless possibilities!
I personally like the add-on for Zion, or "The Pitt" myself. Like I said before, endless possibilities!
