    Truth is...

I wish I had never written Believing Stories. To this day, that nightmare refuses to leave me alone. Just today, someone accessed the FIRST CHAPTER on my google docs and made suggestions for corrections to it...

    IT'S BEEN YEARS.

    JUST LET IT DIE ALREADY!

    I have to face it.

I haven't updated here in months. No matter what, I just can't bring myself to come back to the stories I have. I would say it's just burnout but I think at this point I'm more like burnedout on pony fanfiction...and on being a writer.

    Remember when...

You were like five and you woke up at 6AM or earlier waiting for your parents to get up so you could open the pile of presents under the tree?

Slept in until 11:30 this morning.

    My childhood is officially gone.

I'm no longer a pony... for now

As some of you may remember, last year The Descendent asked for members of the site to add Santa hats to their avatars. I may later add a hat to a pony picture of me but for now I'll have a human face up there.

    Carry on :)

Irish girl problems.... · 3:11am Mar 13th, 2013

I used chalk to dye my hair...but the rest of that (though it is darker in real life) is my Irish skin being exposed to the sun for at least three hours...

irish pride whoo

... Chalk? Is that normal?

Don't worry, my sis is Gin-...redheaded as well. Should go away in... 4 maybe 5 days?

913700 It was for School Spirit days.Chalk was pretty cheap but I would not recommend it.

913704 usually it stays there for about a week, turns tan, then peels... And I have a dating outing this Saturday. :twilightoops:

Irish? Hah, as if! Everybody knows the Irish don't have internet!

I have Scottish, not Irish so I can't help yah, lass.

Eh, I have Irish skin, and I stopped caring about the sun years ago.

.... and then all these moles started showing up. I'm kind of concerned.

And don't get me started on the Scottish hair. I do yard work with my shirt off once, and suddenly the idiots from 'Finding Bigfoot' come to my door asking about the Sasquatch sighting.

We Of Irish decent walk outside, don sunglasses, look towards the sun and open our arms and issue the age old challenge;

"Come at me Bro."

yup same here. my dad is very, very irish. he was born and raised in ireland and my mom is very, very french born and raised there. so yeah, pale, pale, thin skin.

You're Irish? Whaaaaattttttttt? :O

I used chalk to dye my hair

Chalk? How does that work? :rainbowhuh:

~Have a good one.

914357 I dusted it in.

913919 I have my mom's skin...and she got sunburned IN ENGALND. (We took a pic just to prove she got it there.

I see. Interesting.

*nods in sympathy* I feel ya but thankfully was blessed with sturdy Canuckian skin so burning doesn't happen. my other soulless ginger friends know the power of incredibly high spf sunblock well though.

as crazy as it sounds, my mom has an allergy to UV rays so she cant stay in direct sunlight for more then about half an hour. it seems that in this department we have a bit in common!

I feel ya. Being mostly Irish & Scots with just a smidge of Russian and Cherokee, I burn, then peel, and if I'm lucky part of it stays tan for awhile before it all turns to freckles.

915154 I`m not sure which part of the sun/sunlight it is, but she is in some way allergic to the sun or what comes off of it. After staying in the sun for about a half and hour solid without a pool her skin breaks out in a rash (it`s itchy and dotted) and then she gets a sun burn on top of it. It`s not pretty. The sun screen bothers both of our faces so she can`t put much on, doesn`t help with the sun issue. My family is allergic to really weird things. I`m allergic to a certain night cream, some roll on chapstick stuff, Secret® deodorant and Dawn® dish soap and my mom is allergic to grass & trees, pollen and about a million other things. I don`t think my dad has allergies. If he does, no one has noticed.
