After Howl to the Future - Underworld · 10:44pm May 26th, 2013
While working on Howl to the Future, I've realized that my writing quality has significantly dropped since the beginning of my tenure here. Thus, I plan to rectify that mistake with my next one after I finish Howl. It will be a bit of a spiritual successor to Scootaloo and the School of Ghouls, and feature (or will have in it) pretty much everything I think is awesome, including:
The Supernatural, Scootaloo (best pony), Captain Harkness (Expy of Captain Harkness, simply in name, personality, and abilities only), Slendermare (and other fun loving Eldritch Abominations), Vampires, Changelings, Liches, Vinyl Scratch, Nightmare Moon, Death Personified, Secret Worlds, (Undead) Pirates, 'Dark is not Evil', and 'Dark can be god damned Evil too, though'.
Basically, it will feature Scootaloo becoming or realizing she's a vampire. She then will descend literally, and figuratively, to the underworld of Equestria. There, various 'dark' creatures dwell, feeding off the damned souls of the deceased above as they slowly fall to Tartarus. (Of course, some require secondary nutrition, such as blood for vampires, or fear, in Slendermare's case). Living among those above isn't an option for them, nor is revealing themselves except in very rare cases, as their primary nutrition source's energies causes ponies to become sickly and unnerved around them, even if their presence isn't noticed. This has gained them a stigma over the years, and some aren't even sure they still exist due to their unnoticed presence.
Below, Scootaloo, desperate to be able to return to her normal life, must seek out one of the oldest vampires alive, one who has gained the ability to blend in with those on the surface due to his ability to block out the energy emitting from him: Alucard.
Unfortunately, he hasn't been heard of in over a year.
Gaining three unlikely companions: Captain Harkness, a mysterious immortal who wishes he could die, a DJ named Vinyl Scratch, who pays the occasional visit to the surface to pursue her hobby (a lot of the creatures below aren't really into Dubstep), and the Nightmare (Nightmare Moon), part of a race of misunderstood symbiotic spirits who amplify one's desires and anxiety, though one who wishes to block out the destructive energy she emits as well (so this will not happen again), Scootaloo plans to seek out Alucard, no matter where he has disappeared to.
Get ready for some crazy shit.

Alucard. Was this the most creative name you could come up with?
With that plot set up, you're going to have ample opportunities for some really creative stuff here, i can't wait to see where you take it
