New story in the works. · 8:51pm Jun 18th, 2013
Soooo... I had an idea for a new story. It came while reading a Naruto fan-fic. Basically: What if pony magic was suppressed by a tyrant Celestia? What if Rainbow Dash broke her seal because of a powerful artifact?
A few revisions later, and I have the basis of a new story. (It doesn't have a title yet.)
Then, I had a wonderful idea: Set it in the same version of Equestria as BQ,RK, but a few weeks after the royal wedding. The events of the wedding will set off a chain of events that leads to where this story starts.
Now I just need a title and to publish a few more chapters of BQ,Rk, then you will get some wonderfulness.
Would that be a sequel then? Regardless the premise isn't bad, though some people really hate the besmirching of their perfect Celestia. And you would have to answer the question of how, exactly, pony magic was being suppressed. They're already pretty magical. What would happen if they all gained their full abilities? (Everypony becomes an alicorn...
)
The over all goal would be to over throw Celestia right? Topple the throne of benevolent oppression?
I'd read that.

It is a natural cap on a pony's maximum potential that each pony is born with. If instructed how to to so, any pony can break that limit. The seal predates Celestia by almost 7,000 years. Celestia is a lover of propoganda.
Also, unsealed
is the magical equivilent of unsaled
Unsealed ponies retain their normal body. Ascended ponies transform, with alicorn being only one of the possible outcomes.
The thing is, this is a half baked story right now. Still working on it. It would take place at the same time as BQ,RK. The later chapters of BQ,RK will take place years after the wedding, while this story would take place months after, starting a few months before the return of the crystal empire.

Well the basis your describing sounds interesting, but of course it's what you do with it that counts. I'm sure you'll do a fine job, so I'll be looking out for it in the future.
Also I just thought of something. It's called Black Queen, Red King, but he isn't red. Is that coming up later or am I missing something? Or does it even mean anything at all?

Much later. William/Rex gets annoyed with all of the green. It also relates to the red queen of hearts in alice in wonderland.
So no, you haven't missed anything. You are the first person to ask me about that, however.
