I write stories so that I won't be kept awake at night with a brain full of ponies.

Sorry I vanished on you all...

I kind of left you all and basically stopped updating without any warning. Really, that was a bit mean of me. The truth is, however, that I recently have had little to no interest in pony stuff. Yes, I watch the episodes and maybe read a fic or two, but I just haven't been interested in ponies. Other things have caught my attention.

I guess what I'm saying is that I'm on pony hiatus.

    My Thoughts

Almost exactly a year ago, I sat down and wrote up a checklist of very general plot points that I wanted to cover for Split Second: An Eternity Divided. I wrote down fifteen major points that I wanted to cover, not including whatever I chose to end the story with. I had no idea how long it would last me, but I figured that would be good. I couldn’t really think of anything else to

Instead of studying for my finals like a good boy...

... I was working on the next chapter. You'd better love this chapter, 'cause if I fail, I'm blaming y'all.

Anyway, my pre-reader, Dream Seeker, has the next chapter to look over. Expect it soon.

I sent the next chapter to my pre-reader.

Expect it soon. That is all.

Random Idea. · 10:24pm Jun 19th, 2013

I was walking my dog when I got an idea. (I always get good ideas while walking my dog.)

What would you think of a story based off of Full Tilt by Neal Shusterman?

It involves the CMC + their class.

Here's the description of the real book:

Sixteen-year-old Blake has always been the responsible one in his dysfunctional family — the one who drives safely, gets good grades, and looks after his wild younger brother, Quinn. Quinn is his brother's opposite — a thrill-seeker who's always chasing the next scary rush, no matter what the cost. But Quinn and Blake are in for the surprise of their lives when they're thrust into the world of a bizarre phantom carnival — and their souls are the price of admission.

In order to save his brother, and himself, Blake must survive seven different carnival rides before dawn. Seven rides...it sounds easy. But each ride is full of unexpected dangers, because each ride is a reflection of one of Blake's deepest fears. And the last ride is the worst one of all. Because that's the one that confronts Blake with a terrifying secret from his past — a secret he's been running from for years.

Full of roller-coaster twists and turns, Neal Shusterman's latest page-turner is an Orpheus-like adventure into one boy's psyche.

When sixteen-year-old Blake goes to a mysterious, by-invitation-only carnival he somehow knows that it could save his comatose brother, but soon learns that much more is at stake if he fails to meet the challenge presented there by the beautiful Cassandra.

*Shrugs* It probably won't happen, unless you want it to.

Interesting, I loved the book, and seeing it as a crossover would be interesting, if you write it I'll just have to read and see how it turns out. I'm a huge fan of the Everlost trilogy of Shusterman's.

Seems boring as hell. Wouldn't read the book by that description.
