In a world of magic, nothing plays by the rules. Is it any surprise holidays are part of this? For each one, there is an individual world based around it. For instance, Nightmare Night? What could you expect from this? Vampires? Ghosts? Goblins and Ghouls? All are within a world called the Nightmare Realm, one and a half dimensions below and above Equestria. If you look close enough, however, you may just realize that those living there may not be as foreign as it seems. A lich queen Twilight Sparkle and a vampiric Fluttershy could attest to that. As could the rest of their friends, including a very multi-colored Death.
However, the Nightmare Realm is only one world of many, and there is another located right next door. A world of color and bright, white snow: The Realm of Harmony, also known as the Hearth's Warming Eve world. And each year they are responsible for bringing gifts and good tidings to the world of reality.
But not every caretaker of good will or fright is always content with the holidays of others... or even their own.
~ A slight parody of The Nightmare Before Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, as well as the true sequel to The Nightmare Before Nightmare Night (consider the former, cancelled sequels non-canon). Reading it is not a requirement, though recommended.
Starting at mid-summer. Ending on Halloween.
