A Very Hearth's Warming Nightmare Progress and Funsies! · 12:49am Jul 1st, 2013
Heyo! So the first chapter is about finished, though it still needs a bit of work. Expect it up by July 7th, maybe? I dunno. Anyway, some minor fun points and some story elements for y'all:
1. Takes place the Hearth's Warming Eve following the events of TNBNN.
2. Intended to be a bit darker, a bit more serious, and a lot more intricate of a story than TNBNN. Expect a few philosophic discussions and ideas. Won't have much in the way of songs, but poetry will be in it.
3. I will not write a story without references. Plus, it's still intended to be a somewhat fun fic so expect some silliness. Just more structured silliness.
4. The main characters will once again be Twilight Soulshard and Rainbow Death, though another of the ghoul six will be joining as well. Expect a few new Nightmare Land characters: counterparts of real world ponies/other not seen in the first.
5. New characters include King Black Frost and Twilight Carol the Clever of the Hearth's Warming Eve realm.
6. Many elements seen in Scootaloo and the School of Ghouls and The Nightmare Before Hearth's Warming Eve will be reused.
7. In the Holiday Realms, 'douche' is not considered a curse word. However, everything else is.
Would like to see the return of Slendermare, possibly, maybe, perhaps? I like the fact that you gave him/her/it an actual character instead of having him/her/it just be a monster.
