Apple Boom and Spike of the Red Sand
Apple bloom wakes up one morning (before season 1) with mouths on her hooves, an explosion cutie mark, a bag full of clay, and the memories of Deidara, S-Ranked terrorist bomber and member of akatsuki. The same day, Spike wakes up with an extra claw on each hand, a pile of sealing scrolls containing 298 different puppets, and the memories of Sasori, the murderous puppet master of akatsuki. Fun.
I don't know where this Idea came from...

During Sasori's fight with Sakura, he claimed to have 298 human puppets in his collection. Human puppets are made from the corpses of people he killed, gutted, preserved, and then filled with traps. Honestly, I don't know if he had more that were not human corpses but traditional puppets.
