    To anyone who cares

I've returned. Nothing dramatic or anything, just been away on jobs and struggling to shoot depression in the dick. Fortunately I live in the mountains and desert now, thank god. Hell, I even have a house now with a very loyal friend. What does this mean? Well it means I'm gonna try and finish a story, see where it goes from there. No promises. Just trying my best to finish what I started now

    Small Request

I'm afraid my time here will soon be coming to an end as I'm up for another deployment. So here's a little request as I try to finish the story before then.

I'm a shit artist. But it would be really cool if those of you with such skill could try and put some of the stuff in my stories into picture.

Any scene, object or character, any at all.

    Away from civilization

It's great being back on leave, finally. But screw the fine city of San Diego, I'm backpacking the desert and forests. Catch me if you can.

Somehow still getting cell service out here. not another soul in sight.

Dude I would love to go backpacking.
If only I didn't have school.

Don't you live in Hawai'i? Tons of great hiking there. Wish I could've stayed longer.

Yeah. Last summer I did this three day trip to Waimanu valley on the Big Island. If you ever get a chance to go there take it. Sadly there I only went on one backpack this year.

Ya gotta make time for this stuff. The other night I got stuck trudging through a major sandstorm, followed by a thunderstorm full with a flash flood. It sucked for a while, but after everything calmed down with the moonlight and the haze of sand still in the air, it was like I was on a different planet. Worth it.
