My worst phobia/I need your input · 9:37pm Sep 19th, 2013
Is not being able to breathe. Technically it's drowning but drowning mostly happens because you can't breathe so my point stands. Anyway, right now allergies and maybe some bug I caught at work has me all clogged up. Sometimes I can drink tea and breathe again but this cold or whatever it is cannot end soon enough.
And speaking of things that can't end soon enough, my computer is still getting fixed. I never realized how dependent I am on my tablet and photoshop for drawing or how frustrating it can be to not be able to talk to my friends on skype :/ I'm hoping with a new hard drive I can talk and play Cards with my Card group without lagging so much.
All that aside, I'm one day closer to owning an iPad mini! :3
Oh! I do have a question to ask of you who read Believing Stories.
If you could see three scenes from Believing Stories, from Discord's POV in Notes, which would they be?
You can list up to five scenes if you want but I would like to know which scenes would interest you the most if you could see what Discord was thinking. This would really help me as I continue to write. While I may not answer all the questions you want answered, I hope to at least give you something that you've been seeking to know.
(For this, however, I will offer no explanation.)
Celestia is best Ice King horse.
1361183 And you are awesome, good sir.
Kind of irrational if you ask me, which nobody does. For good reasons, mind you. But that's what a phobia is, an irrational fear. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! (Except for polio.)
I know that feel. Mine's somewhat similar, only it involves not being able to breathe or getting nauseous. The minute I even think about one of the two things, I begin to screw it up and it feeds itself in an endless loop.
At the age of 9, I underwent severe emotional trauma which left me with one very deep scar: entomophobia, fear of bugs. Please believe me when I tell you I at least understand a little bit how you feel, as I have a panic attack every time an insect is present.
1361604 Wow, I understand that. it's like when I can't take a full breathe and realizing it causes me to try and fail to breathe deeply.
1361626 Yeah, and to this day if someone pushes me underwater or flips over something I'm floating on, I will freak out and probably scream as soon as I can breathe. Then follows the nastiest coughing, gasping, crying sound ever. People say I'm being overly dramatic, but honestly I'm panicking because I was shoved, without warning into my worst fear and I just can't handle it no matter how much I've tried to prepare myself.
My worst phobia is when I'm under water. I just panick.
