A Note on the Hiatus · 6:49am Nov 4th, 2013
No, sadly, it is not ending. In fact if anything it's becoming more official...ish.
Basically to make a long story short there is a job opportunity for me coming up in three months. A very, very big opportunity that I really want to get in on because my current job is balls. In order to have the best chance at it I will be spending the next three months beefing up my portfolio with various projects, as in three months non-stop. Therefore, no writing will get done until then.
I realize three months doesn't sound like a long enough time to really note, especially given that it's been three months between the last two chapters of Our Eminence, but even still, I just wanted to let people know that the story had not, and will not die. I actually have a much stronger idea of what the hell I'm doing for the second act, and so once I can get to work on it, hopefully things will move along a little bit faster.

I just found this story yesterday, I really hope that you continue this sometime. I enjoyed it a lot.
Also, did the portfolio buffing and job work out?
Well... plans in this industry are pretty remulous at the best of times. The job I thought would come up in February at the latest has yet to crop up. I'm still poking away trying to find something better, and trying to get myself in people's heads. Things MIGHT be showing up soon, but there's never really any guarantee on these matters. The tradeoff is that I've been spending all that time continuing to buff the portfolio. I have good things to show off(well, thing), I'm just making it better while I can.
But, yes... unfortunately that means I'm not really giving any time to writing. I do want to get back to the story eventually, but for now, well...
