New Southern Skies Chapter and WOO 200 followers! · 11:00am Nov 10th, 2013
Finally, after what seems too long, I had inspiration for another chapter of Southern Skies. I've been hoping for some inspiration to fill in the early days of the relationship, since the current chapters skip very quickly from their very first date to their engagement and marriage. Sadly, this is not one of those chapters. This one actually comes first chronologically, an idea that came to me earlier this evening that was too good to pass up. 
In other news, TwilightUCrazy generously volunteered to be my 200th victimfollower, rendering my count a nice round base ten number. 
I'm also nibbling away at the sequel to Pick Me Up At Seven, and am probably about halfway through chapter 3 at around 2K words. Unfortunately, I've been somewhat distracted by a cold in the past few days, but it's starting to clear up, so hopefully my weekend will be a productive one. 
Also: for those of you who don't follow RariDash (shame on you~), the longer of my two entries (A Nightmarish Double Date) won third place in the recent contest. I'm quite happy with the result, given that (as RazedRainbow pointed out) the TwiJack aspect of the story kind of got away from me and overwhelmed the budding RariDash story. So, if you like TwiJack or RariDash (or better yet, both), go check it out! 
To be fair, it's not like you didn't earn my watch. Despite some of my misgivings about Pick Me Up At Seven (I still owe you a re-review by the way), I enjoyed Pillow Talk and its sequel immensely.

I'm always amazed when I hear people liking Pillow Talk.
I didn't have a clue what I was doing then and just shoehorned in a bunch of fundumb references that don't really add to the story. Not to mention, I had a really loose handle on the characters at the time and they feel really OOC to me now. I really should get myself unstuck on the rewrite so I can actually be proud of that story again.
Pillow talk? Hmmmm...I have been meaning to get your other stories read for a while now...
