Update To AppleDashLight Contest - Rule Change.

Unfortunately, the theme of the contest has not garnered as much interest as we'd like - that is perhaps due to it being a little restrictive for a yet small ship group (though I do like the idea, so it might get used again for AppleDash... )

In the interest of that: There is now NO THEME for the AppleDashLight contest. You may now write any story you want regarding the three, as long as it ends with them in a relationship. The other restriction such as no crossovers and no HIE and whatnot still apply.

You may of course still write a fic with that theme, if you want, but it's no longer a requirement.

End date is still March 1st.

Now get to writin'!

Stuff like Ranch Hands where the chars are humans from the start, that's fine.

So which one gives any justification or reason for why things are the way they are?

When I read Fools Gold it felt like an AU of an AU of an AU. It was more jarring when they used pony terms then when they used their own thing.

I am not saying the story is bad, I just couldn't find any connection to FiM at all.
