Update Update Update: News, Atl, And a little something extra. · 11:41pm Dec 30th, 2013
Like the title says, updates and news! This Blog post is gonna be huge so ready yourselves my fellow adventurers.
First off I am happy to confirm that yes, ATL did just update. This one only took eleven days, which is better than the last two series of updates... and while it's not exactly a vast improvement it is a little bit better. MLM should come along in a few days, maybe tomorrow? I shant promise, lest I let you all down, though. In truth, as I'm sure you have all noticed, it is just a perspective switch of the ATL chapter.
However, I will say here, that rewriting a chapter in that way is far more time consuming than writing a chapter fresh. My god is it ever. You wouldn't think it is, because it's all right there, but editing takes far more time to properly implement than just writing from scratch, at least for me... Perhaps it is my perfectionist nature working against me again.
Second! My update plan. My Little Marriage, So Many Wonders, Sweetie Bot, then A Mystery X-mas present from Rainbow Bob.
You all would be right to be afraid of a story trade between myself and Rainbow Bob... The one I did with Hoopy went over rather well, so I have high hopes for this next one.
Third!... Actually, I suppose I don't have a third other than some small talk. The last couple months didn't go so smoothly except for the unexpected success of 'The Mane Makes the Pony'. Still, keeping that success in mind I would really like to keep writing my one shots... I really enjoy it. I also really enjoy my Madverse, however, and would feel a far greater sense of accomplishment from finishing Rarity's, Fluttershy's, Pinkie Pie's, Twilight's, Applejack's and Rainbow Dash's story in it. (And all of my silly OCs, of course.)
It's just tough knowing how much road is left to walk, I suppose. Fan Fiction writing really is a sort of unsung art. The funny thing is I knew that even before I started ignoring my magical studies to delve into it... Strange, isn't it? Well, moving on, stay tuned for any old thing to pop out of my channel. Even I don't know for sure what I may cook up next!
Lastly, I'd like to share an under rated story I've read that really deserves more attention, because it's just so good! I'm just going to start doing this for stories I can recall off the top of my head, and this Blog Post's story is: The Strange Case of button Stitch by Warren Hutch.
This is honestly an old story, and I feel was sorely overlooked. But, it remains in my mind one of the best representations of Screwball, aka that crazy looking pony from Discord's first arc. It's an original tale, and pretty funny. I thoroughly enjoyed it the first time I read it and it's a story I could see myself rereading every now and again thanks to its short length. It's one of those stories I'd compare to portal. Perfect in its simplicity.

Man I remember Strange Case of Button Stitch.
One of the first fan fictions I ever read in this fandom.
I gotta try and read it again.
Well, I'm glad to see ATL and MLM moving forward. I look forward to gleaning more clues as to what is going on from this new chapter.
Ditto on that recommendation, that fic and it's sequels are classics.
