A New Year and New Fiction · 9:32pm Jan 1st, 2014
Well, with the holidays now behind me, I've had the opportunity to sit down and start back on editing the novel, and wouldn't you know it; I ended up pulling another story up out of nowhere. So, here I am pages and weeks behind schedule, writing a short story that will be published between the previous book, and the upcoming Mr God.
Synopsis:
The new story is called, Consecration, and takes place in modern Manhattan. Our main character, Howard Roark has just married the woman of his dreams—a whirlwind romance that ended up with them standing in front of the justice of the peace signing marriage papers after just a week long relationship. Unfortunately for Howard, his new bride, Elena is a beast. Her sexual appetite is such, that just days after their wedding, Howard is already starting to feel the effects of fatigue and exhaustion; his co-workers are also taking note of how his health seems to be running down.
Less than two weeks into their marital bliss, Elena begins acting odd. Howard, now beginning to realize the complications of marrying someone he hardly knew begins to question his new bride, and her motives. Who is she, and where did she come from? These questions begin to plague Howard. So much so, that he feels compelled to learn the truth about Elena before his health begins to suffer worse. But is it already too late?
Some truths are older and more complicated than they appear. Some acts bind stronger than any on earth. As Howard learns; there are dark forces at work. Will he lose himself to the appetites of his bride, or will he find the strength to stop her before it costs him his life?
With any luck, Consecration will be available for purchase exclusively through Kindle; sorry, I don't plan on putting out a paperback unless I can compose an anthology.
Comments are welcome.
I still haven't received my Murder by Midnight. Never again Amazon. Never again.

You should get a refund, and order it through Barnes & Noble. If you want I can send you a free ebook via email.
I'm going to ask for one. I wouldn't mind an ebook, it just that a paperback has a certain feel to it that's beyond physical and more sentimental. Plus, I'd prefer to support a writer. To Barns and Noble!!!
