    Where Have I been?

Well, I guess there is no getting around the fact that I've been gone for a while, and even after I said that I wasn't going to go and disappear for any more long stretches of time. Bad, me!

    Still Here, Just Writing... slowly.

Well for those of you that are sure I've dove to my demise, I assure you, I am still here, and working on my fan fiction. Unfortunately, it's taking a lot longer to get this next chapter out. Never fear though, I am working, and with any luck, there will be more Bunderbliss for everyone.

The Novelty of Writing 04 - On Rainbow Dash as a Complex Character

It's been a while since I wrote one of these, and while I was out of town for the holiday, I had some interesting conversations with another brony concerning Rainbow Dash. The same one I usually have with this fellow brony, time and time again. "Why do I like Rainbow Dash?"

Where the **** Is the New Novel? · 3:28am Jan 10th, 2014

If you been with me any length of time on here, you know that I have a second novel that is coming out, and was scheduled to come out last year before the holiday season. Well... where the hell is it?

Ahem.

To answer that, I can only say, that it was because of me changing the ending at the last damn minute, and having to add at least four more chapters. Which meant pushing the release date back. Then what happens? The holidays of course. When I say I got slammed, I mean to say that I got slammed. From thanksgiving until New Years, things were almost constant non-stop mayhem. There was traveling, and the flu, hotels and in-laws.

So to make the long story even longer; Mr God sat in my computer finished, but waiting on me to complete my revisions and initial editing. Now that all the days of wine and song are behind me, I took the last few days and sat down to finish my portion of the editing process. I know, I know... a writer that self edits his work has a fool for an editor, but fear not. I am not the editor; I merely say editing, because I hate the term, "second draft." I will never admit to, or agree with multiple drafts of a manuscript. If I have to go through and re-write the whole thing, then I kick my own ass, and argue that I should have done it right the first time.

As I write this, my editor is sitting at her desk bugging me with all the minute changes that she is happily making to my story; hopefully to improve the reader's experience, and to make my ilk something coherent and understandable.

I would love to say that Mr God will be live and ready for purchase by the 15th of this month. But, once she is finished editing, I get to read over my manuscript once more, and check that her changes or corrections match my tone and progression.

The new story, Consecration aside, I am already three chapters into the third novel. Guess, like Patterson, I'm going to have to get used to juggling projects, and learn how to manage deadlines along with them.

The third novel, is tentatively titled, Biographic, and is another mystery/thriller.

Synopsis:

John Ledger is a famous science fiction novelist that has just published the latest book in his best selling space adventure series. Not to John's surprise, the novel was hailed as being the weakest novel in the series. John, having grown weary of writing science fiction, knows all too well that his heart wasn't in the latest book. Wanting to do something else, John confides in his agent that he wants to write some other genre, and agrees to take on one more book to fulfill his contractual obligations to the publisher.

The book, is a biography. Not just any biography, but the life story of one of the most secretive and richest men in the world.

At eighty-six years old, Douglass Halloway's greatest secret has been the story of his success. How a kid from the Bronx who went to war and came back a nobody could build a business empire that would reach around the globe almost over night. Amidst all the plethora of unauthorized biographies, and speculations about his life; this would be the one that would end the guess work, and offer the big reveal.

For John, it was the offer of a lifetime; a guaranteed best seller, and a revelation of a truth that people would kill to silence, and some would kill to learn.
