At Last, It Is Completed · 6:28am Jan 15th, 2014
Lingering Lunacy's status is now changed from "incomplete" to "complete." And it feels GLORIOUS.
As I believe I've mentioned before, this is the first "feature-length" fanfic I've completed for any fandom I've been a part of. I guess MLP does that to people: great storytelling from the writing staff inspires great storytelling from the fans. I know my story isn't as brilliant as some of what's on this site, but I'm proud to make a large[r] contribution to this fandom's literature.
What's next after Lingering Lunacy, you might ask?
I have absolutely no plans for a sequel, if you are one of those that demands craves sequels from fanfic writers. There are no real plot holes left in Lingering Lunacy (it was written to fill a gigantic plot hole in "A Canterlot Wedding," after all), so I don't see how there could be a sequel, or even some kind of spin-off. With college being as demanding as it is--it delayed my writing any new material for LL for a good four months--I think I will stick to oneshots or shorter stories for the time being. What will they be about? Who knows? It's whatever catches my fancy.
Thank you for reading Lingering Lunacy, especially if you have stuck with it since the beginning and through the hiatus. That is a truly dedicated reader.
Until next time,
Jadu
congrats on finishing this story, mate! Although I didn't read the last two chapters yet [which I plan on doing very soon], I can already tell it was worth the wait!
Good luck on all your future endeavors, no matter what they are!
