State of Resolve: Green story progress and other news · 5:50pm Jan 31st, 2014
I am tagging this blog to Green because part of it relates to that story. To my readers of Green, you may feel free to ignore this if you wish, but I wanted to give you an update since you haven't had a chapter in a while.
First, an explanation. Readers who have been following for a while may have noted that occasionally Green goes from a chapter every 30 days or so to about 2 months without an update. It's only happened a few times and this time was for the same reason: I was writing another story. Last time it was a 39k word Raripie mature story. This time it was writing what is so far 25,000 words of the sequel to that story. I am not putting Green on hiatus. As a matter of fact writing this sequel is a great way to recharge my flarity batteries, because it's a Fluttershy Rarity Pinkie love triangle. I just wanted you to let you know I am by no means quitting Green, but I do need to take a breather every once in a while to ensure you're all getting the best story possible from me.
There is a final little bit to this blog, but it's a personal matter. I am spoilering the text so that any who wish to not be troubled by it can avoid it.
Some of you may recall that back in July of last year I brought up the uncomfortable matter of some large loans I had taken out. At the time I had about around 2500.00 outstanding and was paying about 900.00 a month of interest and making no progress on principle. Back then several of you sent a grand total of 780.00 and between that and some help from a friend I really don't deserve I managed to get rid of the lion's share of the debt, namely the payday loans which accounted for around 500.00 a month in interest.
That being said, I still have the 1400.00 auto title loan I am trying to get rid of. Basically I am paying them 400.00 a month in interest for the privilege of continuing to drive my car. (Never ever get payday loans or auto title loans, it's essentially legalized loan sharking.) I'll say it again for my new followers... No one should feel they have any obligation to help me out. I am not holding my writing hostage. Hell, I just wrote 25,000 words in a month! I'm just asking as one human being to... several thousand others, a few hundred of whom may actually read this, if you have the means to help out, my paypal is at this link. Please, no one apologize if you can't help out. Thank you for reading. And I apologize for bringing up my troubles.

THe interest rates on those types of loans are near criminal. In some places they tried to make them illegal but they get stopped sadly by those companies and people foolish enough to think that they should exist (mostly people who either have never used one or that have not taken the time to see what using them is doing to their bottom line).
