So it's happened again! The warm fuzzies are overflowing! Her Own Pony finally got into Equestria Daily!
(About three months after it was finished, but ignore that part...)

    Void got a reading!

I'm honestly surprised at how much support and general like that Void gathered. Now, I know that most people don't like to bear through a ton of thanks and general spouting of boring things.

Bear with me, this hopefully won't take too long.

Collaborations are weird. Really weird. And now I'm part of one!

For those of you that don't know (Which would be all of you. To be honest, I'd be surprised if you did!) I am now part of a mad little group of other writers on this site. The three of us have been working on a fic called A Mile In Her Regalia. It's pretty nutty, and basically about a bodyswitch of Luna and Celly.

    NEW STORY! YAY!

So, if you haven't checked lately, then you wouldn't know that I just published a new story. Which I did. Yeah.
If you HAVE checked recently... Well, okay then. Have you read it? No? Do so. Or else I will be disappoint in you. It's called Void.

And it's about SPAAACE! SO COOL!

    Blast from the Past

So I was going through some of my old PM's, just out of curiosity, y'know? Anyhoo, I found a VERY interesting little PM between myself and my old editor. We would critic each other's work and get opinions. I cut out the majority to get rid of the actual critic part, but I found a VERY interesting little footnote at the bottom...

(Footnote) I've decided to make a fic about Too Many Pinkie Pies (Yeah, I know your opinion, but it's not about the wrong Pinkie being sent back)
What I plan on doing is making a thoughtful fic about one of the clone/duplicates being left behind and not going to the paint drying thing. I'm trying to write about her maybe gaining a personality of her own, and addressing the matter that a lot of guys brought up about whether Twilight was right to send back the clones, or if that was considered murder.
Interested at all? It's still a rough thought, but I'm planning on drafting something in the next few days, so give me a message!:rainbowkiss::twilightblush:

Love. That. Idea.
I'll respond once I check out what you have so far.

Then I found this one. It seems that even in the crappy as hell early stages, I had the magic fingers... :|

This is becoming my favourite pastime, it really is.
Now, you may not have noticed the response that I sent you regarding your chapter, but if you read that you'll notice a small footnote that I'd written up.
I had nothing better to do, so I got a hammer, a keyboard, introduced the two and let them write the initial chapter for a story. It's still in a rough stage, and I'm still re-wording/cutting parts of it, but I'm not asking for that. The real question is on the premise, what is your opinion on the idea so far, you interested?:pinkiesad2::twilightblush::duck::applejackunsure:

Alright, I took a look at it. Concept? YES. Emotive description? YES. Dialogue? UNREALISTIC.
That needs some work. To be frank, it's a bit of a weakness that I notice, where the characters speak too much what you want to express to the reader, and not what they'd actually say when they want to display a certain emotion or description.
I imagine the conversation going down on a screen, and I get what you want to say, but it just doesn't have that MLP 'Vibe' going on to it at parts where they start to panic.
That aside, her internal thoughts were nigh flawless. I really felt like I WAS the Pinkie-clone early on. GJ on that, and... Oh, right:
MOAR.

So there ya go. Humble beginnings for everything. I'm not entirely sure WHY I'm posting this. Maybe it's some sort of last farewell before I publish the final chapter and send this fic on its merry way. Whatever it is, I hope you guys like seeing the mess that is me in my creative process...

I really felt like I WAS the Pinkie-clone

I felt it so much, that I felt real fear during the reading. It was so horrible to see the nice, loving and smiling ponies to be heartless hunters. This insecurity, this constant fear... it just grabbed me, and didn't release me. I couldn't stop.

I usually read fan-fictions because they stir up emotions in me that I like. Fear is definitely not one of them.

You make me crazy :pinkiecrazy:.

Oh, and it's always nice to see how others do the creative stuff. It encourages me when I learn that the writers more successful than me also struggle with the same things that I do, like realistic dialogues.

Awww... Her Own Pony baby pictures!

Interesting. It is fun to see how stuff all began. Thanks for sharing.:rainbowdetermined2:

I love seeing this kind of 'humble beginnings' stuff, as you put it. They're always a lot of fun!
