Writing update and other things · 7:45pm Mar 13th, 2014
I'm not sure when anything will actually go out anymore, but writing is happening. I wrote 3600 words of the next interlude chapter for Crown of Night, but something about it just doesn't sit right with me and I'm not sure what to do about it so I just moved on to the next proper chapter and started writing that instead. It now has close to 5k words and I actually feel really good about it... but it also seems like it's going to go on for a while, because apparently I can never decide on a proper amount of material to put in each chapter.
I have also written a little over a thousand words of insane comedy in a one-shot that may never be completed, the idea for which I first thought up half a year ago and which features Twilight Sparkle destroying lots of pianos. Because apparently people feel strongly about that sort of thing. So all in all I have close to 10k words written in the past month.
In other news, the new MLP: Friends Forever comic, which came out earlier today, has a Watchmen reference in it. I think I died of happiness a little bit when I read it.
Finally, another thing I discovered today is that apples are actually roses. I can't help but think there's the potential for an Applejack story in this somewhere.
