One Is the Loneliest Number That You Ever Knew

Two can be as bad as one
It's the loneliest number since the number one

No is the saddest experience you'll ever know
Yes is the saddest experience you'll ever know
'Cause one is the loneliest number that you'll ever know
One is the loneliest number even worse than two, yeah

It's just no good anymore since you went away
Now, I spend my time just
    Making up rhymes of yesterday

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky

I feel super cringe for posting yet another self-hype blog, so I'm gonna borrow a bit of Tolkien's goodwill to get through it.

January 2, 2023. Three days. Peace.

    Best,
    GentlemanJ

Monsieurs and madamoiselles,

I am oh so happy to announce for the first time ever, a reading of The Journey of Graves!

Brought to us by the lovely Intrapulation, now moderator of the Doom Pie Network (I think) we are in for a treat of smexy sounding auditory wonders as he reads the first chapter of When the Man Comes Around. I've listened to it, and I giggled. I giggled like a schoolgirl - which as a full-blooded man, I am currently not nor have ever been - because it makes me so very, very happy.

THAT BEING SAID...

Intrapulation is a dude. A dude with a fine voice, but a dude nonetheless, which is why he's looking for lovely ladies to help him bring the cast to life. Think you got Rainbow Dash's sass? Rarity's aplomb? Maybe even... the diabeetus inducing sugary goodness of Sweetie Belle herself?! *gasp!* Then contact Intrapulation here, at this wonderfully convenient link I have so graciously provided and help make this one of the most fantastic story readings this side of a Morgan Freeman monologue.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

He's also open to people who want to be the voice of Graves himself. For those of you who can gargle gravel and spit up sand and for those with enough hutzpah to think they can out-marshal Intrapulation, he welcomes the challenge. He. Welcomes. It.

So yeah, good times, good times. Hope you enjoy the recordings as much as I did, and as always, hope to see you back soon!

Sincerely,
GentlemanJ

Gratz on the achievement!
Best of luck on your stories

Why would Intrapulation do this to himself? The Journey of Graves is a huge undertaking and now he has to follow through with it until the end of time!!! (or until you stop adding more chapters/books to The Journey of Graves) either way congrats on your first reading and I hope he does find some more voice talent/help with this and it would be totally wizard if he can get a "Rarity Mimic" to help him because she has the most lines out of any female cast and she's has a very important role in The Journey of Graves.

I WOULD try, as I have a deepish voice, but alas, I also have a slight problem with mumbling, and Graves is no mumbler! No sir!

Well hell, I'll give it a shot :pinkiehappy:

Just something that popped up in my head: is there a voice you would compare Graves' to? I.e. when you read Graves' lines, who do you think of?

2018278 Kevin Conroy, the voice of the one true Batman. Seriously, that voice inspired not only the character, but also a whole story by itself.

2018439 Too true :moustache:

Also, do you watch the Venture Brothers? If so, you might know where this is going.

So...what's your famous level now?
Jesus dude...fan readings. Not surprised that it happened. Am surprised that it didn't happen sooner.

May the stache be with you :moustache:
