Yup, still here, still writing.
Yet again, it's been a solid month since I've posted here but I mean, college, ya know? I still plan on finishing this fic if it kills me, and expect a new chapter (a long one!) very soon. I've been taking some time to lay down some groundwork and notes on what I plan to do and where I plan to go on the story (an important aspect of writing that I often neglect!) so hopefully it'll keep the fic going in the right direction. I certainly like where it's going, despite the fact that I think I have a looooooooong way to go.
On another note, I actually need to sit down and create some concept art which I'll go ahead and post on Deviantart. That may sound a little odd, but the way I see it, if I draw up what I'm trying to describe in my writing, it might make it make more sense to readers, and beyond that--drawing is fun. Maybe if I write it here I can hold myself to it rather than just saying I'll do it eventually.
Oh, and the title's definitely not a Portal reference.
