Little update on Collateral · 4:37am Apr 30th, 2014
Hey guys.
I had previously said that I would be returning to the normal update schedule once exams were over, but I had forgotten about an additional component of the course: Co-op related assignments and work. Collateral will resume weekly updates as of this Saturday.
I'd also like to talk about something else. N00813 has been an incredible help to the story. Much the story would hardly be near as fleshed out as it is, had it not been for his work and advice. However, for the past while, he has had to take a step back from helping with my story due to becoming too busy. As some of you may have noticed, the past few chapters may have been a little rough. This was because I went ahead without any form of editor or pre-reader to help me polish (and actually construct in some cases). While I'd love to have N00813 helping me once again (and will be getting in touch to check with him), it is unreasonable for me to expect him to drop everything to help me finish the story over the coming months if he is unable to find the time. There was much room for improvement in my writing, and a re-write from a point fairly far in which caused the story just to drag on. In fact, in little more than a month, the story will have had it's two year anniversary since it has first been published (note to self: prepare something for this date).
So, this is why I'm just seeing if there is anyone, who follows the story, who would be interested in helping edit and pre-read. If you would be willing, I would like to hear from you. I'm not looking for a ridiculous amount of time, or a entirely complete knowledge of the English language. More often than not, I just need a second set of idea and a few ideas to help me along in areas. Now, I don't want to come off as sounding negative, but this is not an situation just so someone can read the chapter a little earlier. I know, truly, that almost everyone wouldn't do this, but I actually had problems with this before.

...If you literally find no one else, then I'm available. I don't exactly have that much spare time—I'm also an editor for this monster, and I'm in the middle of writing my own fic so that my story count will stop being zero—but as a last resort then I can help.
