What? It's May already?! I thought I had another day left!
Ahem. HI! It's me again, letting you know that I'm not dead!
Well, not as dead as my abysmal output would indicate.
Work on next Frequencies chapter: 1257 words.
Yes, all of those words I claimed last month were a load of crock; if the date, explicit mention of April's Fool, and the complete absence of total, insidious self-deprecation hadn't given it away already. OMG LIES AND FALSE HOPE ARE SO FUNNY YOU GUYS
But on the good news side of things, I finally feel the writing juices beginning to flow again for real! And the proof is that I did write stuff; roughly the last six to seven thousand words of a 12k semi-one-shot that I'll be able to post whenever I get the cover art I commissioned. And to do something different, I'll post the five chapters of that story one by one with a week between each. So I'll finally get to know what it feels like to have a reliable, regular schedule for once, like big boys do! Won't that be super?
Anyway, it's going to be a pretty dark, mildly violent little tale. Spoiler: Twilight won't make it.
