Just your average flying pony with a little more to carry than his own wings can handle

When a pilot finds himself trapped with no good choices left, what will he do? Good intentions conflict with harsh realith, and he has to balance saving lives against losing his own before he can help.

New Story: The Last Link · 5:29pm May 20th, 2014

IT'S ALIVE. And posted. Today starts a new story, one I've been working on for a while. The Last Link is up and readable.

What's it about? Ponies! That one was obvious, I suppose. Okay, Airplanes! I mean, what else would I write about? There's other stories about airplanes up on FimFic, sure. But none from this perspective.

Airplanes, like any tool, aren't inherently dangerous. It's the people who fly them who make 'em that way. They make mistakes, usually honest ones. And lots of times they fly them into situations where you don't know everything that's going on. You look at what information you can get, you make predictions, and then you go. Sometimes you're right, sometimes you're wrong.

It's what you do when you find out you're wrong that makes you a good pilot or a statistic. So I wrote a story that borrows from my experiences, adds a dash of nostalgia, and tosses in some good old-fashioned... well, you'll just have to read it.

... Yes, I mean now.
