Now that Chapter 6 is done....

Well, it took a long time but I finally got Chapter 6 up. And my dear son finally read the first five chapters. He's really good with details, so I have some minor edits to make thanks to him. But nothing that will change the story.

We've left Maud sleeping off her exhaustion after pulling an all-nighter with Cheese, studying for her midterm. I had to do a ton of research to learn more about rock classification for that one. I'm ready for an easier chapter... but it's time for them to start getting romantic, and I'm wondering just how "fast" is too "fast."

Some of the stories on FIM Fiction have long, slow courtships and some have ponies falling into bed together pretty quickly. I'm trying to decide what Maud would do with a special somepony... and for that matter, what Cheese would do. Maud always struck me as pretty sophisticated, and she probably would have some experience in that arena. She's pretty sure of herself and who she is. Cheese, on the other hand, could be a believable virgin, given his younger self shyness. I envision Cheese as being good with groups of ponies (making parties) but not as good one on one.
