First 'proper' chapter of "Feels Like the First Time" is up.

A theme you'll be seeing is the mane 6's stories being tied (albeit loosely sometimes) into canonical events. In AJ's case, as was obviously mentioned, that event was meeting somepony in Manehattan. Additionally, you'll be seeing a wide variety of relationship types stemming from (or leading to) these stories, hopefully different enough that they don't get stale.

That being said, sorry in advance if you hate OCs. First last and only one in the fic, I promise.

Personally I think using OCs are justified if you want to have heterosexual couples. There are just not enough male ponies with actual established personalities to work with (especially if you want to use more than one or two). Even if you use an official male character you don't have much information to work with and so they still end up being mostly an OC character just with an official name. If I recall correctly many of the traits listed for many background characters were made up and popularized by the fandom (sometimes due to very minor occurrences in the show and sometimes not) rather than being based on any actual official character design.
