Hi. I just wanted to thank people for reading my story. It hasn't been a good week, or month, or year really. Work hasn't gotten better. My student debt hasn't even been chipped at. Even progress on horizons has slowed to a crawl. Regardless of all of that, having all of you as readers has really... helped me. It's one of the good things in my life. Many of you helped me out with donations, without which I probably wouldn't have made it. Others helped me out with criticism to help improve my writing and me. So I want to thank everyone and I hope that once the new year starts, things will get better.
Because like Spider Jerusalem said: "The future is an inherently good thing, and we move into it one winter at a time. Things get better one winter at a time. So if you're going to celebrate something, then have a drink on this: the world is, generally and on balance, a better place to live this year than it was last year. I discovered Fallout Equestria in February 2014, and mlp fanfics, I was amazed by all the word building and the dept of the characters. then, two weeks later, I discovered Project Horizon, and I was blown away at how you managed to expend in that same universe, and made an even better work then Kkat. Sens that time, I have been impress by your dedication of in your work, that in the end is a hobby, that you are passionately invested in, all for the pleasure of your readers. I admire you and your passion, and you have shown me the importances of a well planed story. You have inspired me to practice my writing skills, and practice my English. I am hoping one day to become a graphic novel artist, and your f.o.e.: p.h. as help better understand the narrative structure of a good story. I wish you the best of luck in you writing carrier, that your life go better for you, and I'm always looking to the next chapter.

I don't know how long I've been reading horizons, but I think I started my Junior year of highschool, I'm into college now, haven't missed an update and i've loved the story the whole way. I had this rule in highschool, on a school night I would skim past every update, and wait until tomarrow to read it, to make sure I actually got some sleep. Unless it was horizons, that was my rule. I would read Horizons no matter what. Thats how much I love this story. You might remember on Equestria daily when I said that I'd be more sad when this story ends than when the fandom ends. That's not true, I don't know if I'll be sad, I mean I definitely will, but I have a feeling the ending will be so epic that I'll be more accepting than anything. Hopefully the fandom ends as well as I'm sure horizons will. Sorry if this isn't well written haha I'm on my phone. I guess what I'm trying to say though is it doesn't feel right to thank us without us thanking you. So thank you, for an epic story and epic characters.

I believe that I should thank you as well then. I hadn't been there since the beginning of PH I admit , as I started reading when you were around chapter 45 , but since then I hadn't missed an update .
I like to think that I became a better person thanks to PH ( the whole "do better" thing , maybe ? ) , and a better writter thanks to you. Hell , I might even start writting something worthy of having some readers someday.
Point is , thank you for everything Somber , happy holidays and see you next year !
