Hello again everyone (or all two of you who actually read these). This is an art request. As From-a-Shimmer-to-a-Shine nears completion, I've realized that the illustration I'm currently using for the title page, is insufficient to portray the full concept of the story.
This is not merely a depiction of Sunset wallowing in shame as the image would indicate, but a woman challenging her tragedies to reemerge triumphant. Therefore I am requesting the artists in our community for a new image.
Details: If you're a reasonably well-established artist (say, more than 100 total comments on your artwork), please PM me if you're willing to accept (whether by request or commission, we'll work something out).
The picture needs to be a Sunset Shimmer, in normal human form, in mid-clash against her demon form Searing (like how two fighters will leap at each other just before striking). Sunset's expression needs to be one of determination. She WILL conquer her enemy and she WILL set herself free. The background contains the mirror that links Equestria to the human world with a hopeful Celestia on the right side and a sneering Adagio on the other.
I'd be very grateful this. Not just because I'm not very good at art myself, but because I want this story to be at its absolute best it can, and the artwork provides an important first impression of that.
I'm happy to share the contact information with the gentleman who completed cover art for my story. I had to dig into my pockets a bit, but I'm very pleased with the result!

Dane of Celestia has his commission prices posted on the front cover of his Deviantart page. They range from modest (30 USD) to not so modest (upwards of 100 USD). He's pleasant to work with and very accommodating. He completed my art in just over two weeks

I went all out with the "S" level. I had to pay a bit extra because I had five characters in the cover art, but I thought it was worth every penny. I just neglected to tell my wife how much I actually spent.
If you like his style, start the dialogue. If not, there are many other artists that take commissions. I just haven't found one that will make art for free, though I know that they are out there!
