I Came Back To Post One Little Thing, Then I'll Leave Again

I had mentioned before that a book called The Last Centurion had largely read like an opposite day prophecy about 2020. I thought I'd mention a little factoid about the book, due to recent events. Scroll down for a spoiler.

I Deleted My Last Blog Post... Again

Not over racism this time, but because what should have been a forum for civil discussion about the debate had quickly become extremely uncivil. I stopped it before I had to ban anyone, but I've learned my lesson. I'm going to stop trying to discuss politics on my blog, because it is clear to me now that not even Bronies are capable of civil, rational discussion of politics in 2020, and that

I Want To Get This Off My Chest

I keep seeing people posting stuff about how "The virus isn't going away, viruses never go away, you guys just need to deal with it".

Here's some straight truth for you guys.

And here's a link where I cite my sources about SARS.

I Deleted My Most Recent Blog Post

Seeing what the discussion in the comments was turning into, I opted to simply delete it over deleting some of the posts I saw on it. While political discussion is one thing, racism is not something I'll stand for. Have a good Labor Day Weekend, everyone.

I've Got A Book I Want To Discuss With You Guys

Alright. The book in question is called The Last Centurion, By John Ringo. He's actually a sci-fi author whose novels I've read and enjoyed. The Last Centurion isn't so much a sci-fi novel as it is a Twenty Minutes Into The Future Near-Apocalypse Military Campaign tale. The story takes place in a supposed near future where a combination of a mini-ice age and a global pandemic strikes the

Just a quick little line, but I though you might like it:

Lord Conrad was right: Money might not be able to buy love, but it can buy a puppy, which is basically the same thing.

"Basically in the same thing"? Typo, or deliberate error to show character?

My comedy senses are tingling!

What's this, what's this? A changeling over there!

I think Conrad solved the Food Shortage in the hive.

True story.

Why is Dog Man's best friend? Because Dog loves you. He will love you no matter your faults. And Dog will stick by, so long as you give Dog food, and water, and affection, and walkies. That's it.

Dog will kill for you. Dog will die for you. Dog will stand by you long after the rest of the flighty, duplicitous humans have let you down. Because Dog is good like that. And Dog deserves some goodness in return.

Mylittletimelord is right.
puppy+food+play=love
2 puppies+food+play=even MORE love
3 puppies+food+play=HEAPS more love
and so on and so forth...

Look like it's referencing what happened in chapter 3. Although I got to ask, where they get the money?

Money can also buy cat, which is not the same thing. Cat is a cold, miserable, hungry death, for cat does not love you, no matter how much you love cat.

Thankfully, you have dog to rid yourself of cat.

2736600 Evil... That sounds evil...

I'm scared... Hold me.

Took a chunk off of the queen's fancy throne (Gold and jewels).

No probs, just wondering. After all, some characters can have broken English (Equish, Ponish, PRESBYTERIAN SIGN LANGUAGE, whatever) that shows them to be from another culture and I wanted to see if it was that... or just a silly typo that happens.

Anyways, happy writing.

2737246 A chunk to buy all those puppies? ...I really want to know just how large this throne is now.

2738244
It was only one gemstone, actually, and it was the same kind as the one the CMC used to buy an industrial strength fur dryer, so yeah, that throne was equal parts big and swag.
