I Came Back To Post One Little Thing, Then I'll Leave Again

I had mentioned before that a book called The Last Centurion had largely read like an opposite day prophecy about 2020. I thought I'd mention a little factoid about the book, due to recent events. Scroll down for a spoiler.

I Deleted My Last Blog Post... Again

Not over racism this time, but because what should have been a forum for civil discussion about the debate had quickly become extremely uncivil. I stopped it before I had to ban anyone, but I've learned my lesson. I'm going to stop trying to discuss politics on my blog, because it is clear to me now that not even Bronies are capable of civil, rational discussion of politics in 2020, and that

I Want To Get This Off My Chest

I keep seeing people posting stuff about how "The virus isn't going away, viruses never go away, you guys just need to deal with it".

Here's some straight truth for you guys.

And here's a link where I cite my sources about SARS.

I Deleted My Most Recent Blog Post

Seeing what the discussion in the comments was turning into, I opted to simply delete it over deleting some of the posts I saw on it. While political discussion is one thing, racism is not something I'll stand for. Have a good Labor Day Weekend, everyone.

I've Got A Book I Want To Discuss With You Guys

Alright. The book in question is called The Last Centurion, By John Ringo. He's actually a sci-fi author whose novels I've read and enjoyed. The Last Centurion isn't so much a sci-fi novel as it is a Twenty Minutes Into The Future Near-Apocalypse Military Campaign tale. The story takes place in a supposed near future where a combination of a mini-ice age and a global pandemic strikes the

'Code Lavender' was the call sign for when Celestia had to rush off and prevent Twilight Sparkle from doing something with the best of intentions that might accidentally spark off a world war or a world-ending calamity. Thankfully, since moving to Ponyville, the youngster had not triggered such a catastrophic event, but from ages six to sixteen, she had kept Celestia so busy that an official codeword had to be given to when Twilight had done something... ill-advised. The phrase would put the entirety of the Equestrian Army on high alert, warn all of the superheroes in Manehattan that they might soon be needed, and would also advise the leader of every nation on the planet to, essentially, "Hold on to your flanks, because Twilight Sparkle is at it again." Lovely girl that Twilight was, Celestia secretly wished that she was just a little less impulsive. Still, that impulsive aspect of her nature had saved Equestria far more often than it had endangered it...

For what is this written, I wonder. Perhaps for Tirek? Or perhaps for something else... Only time... will tell...

My bad, I keep forgetting. The new setup makes it easier to forget that option.

2738994 Holy pluck, I guessed right?! Score! 8D

Ok, but when do we actually get to see this in action?

I, myself, especially want to see what happens when Fluttershy sees all the adorable puppies running around.

And I especially want to see what happens when Dash decides to give Conrad what for, and he suggests they instead settle their dispute courtside before implying that she's reluctant to do so without the use of her wings because "blue mare can't jump."

all my yes...
i seriously hope there is a way for you to be payed for this...

Code:Radiation Pink

...Because Discord can't be represented by a plain old color. Today it's radio wave color. Tomorrow, gamma ray. Or infrared. Or yellow number 7. Of course, equestria could be black and white muted color for a day.

Still, that impulsive aspect of her nature had saved Equestria far more often than it had endangered it...

Slightly.

Code six hundred and fifty nanometers.

If you were a changeling, I could roll you out the door after I'm done with you.

Code: Ruby Rose. With a scythle.

Yes, you.

Yes, "Code Lavender" should be a thing, along with "Code Pink" of course. I'm not certain the "You're gonna love me!" incident is enough to warrant a "Code Yellow," (which could be so easily misunderstood) and the rest of the mane six are hardly a tremor on the sociopolitical Richter scale.

Celestia's note to herself: ""We should never give the Royal Guard too many "code" terms to remember. If they have to look it up, the disaster will likely happen before they figure out what it was going to be... Never forget the "Code Brown" incident. Never! Forget! The! Code! Brown! Incident! Never!!" ahem, let us not speak of that, shall we?"
