I didn't write any of that.

  • EAlarm Clock
Ditzy Doo sees things nopony else can see: higher-dimensional spatial anomalies, fae creatures, and eldritch abominations. She solves problems that other ponies don’t even know exist. But now, she may have bitten off more than she can chew.

HELLO ME NOT DEAD · 6:08am Feb 3rd, 2015

(source)

Man, where did 2013 go? ... Wait, it's 2015 already?

So where have I been? I lost a job, found another that just payed the bills, then found another that's actually in my field. I moved from the frozen north to Texas. I fell into a nasty period where I usually lacked motivation—and the few times I had motivation, I lacked the time to do anything with it—but I crawled out the other side.

I crawled out, bearing a gift for you.

Before I disappeared, I promised that I would whip the old chapters of Alarm Clock into a better shape. On Groundhog Day 2015, I have fulfilled that promise. BEHOLD: the new, improved Alarm Clock has more foreshadowing, less word cruft, more Purplesmart and Policehorse, and fewer embarrassing continuity errors.

"But why not just finish the story?" you might ask. And the answer is, I have. The final chapters are already written, and the editing is almost done. They will go up on Fimfic soon. Within the month, Alarm Clock will wear that beautiful green "complete" icon.

I love you all.

...Where on earth did you find that picture of Cookie Monster in a coffin?

2766451 From the ancient webcomic Spamusement.

... I mean to include a link in the original blog post. Thanks for jogging my memory.

Meta, you magnificent bastard, I just reread all of Spamusement because of that picture.

As for Alarm Clock itself, I guess I'm going to reread that as well, if you've rewritten it and all. I don't even remember how far into the story I was in the first place...

2767560 Dangit now I have to go read that.

I'm so happy to see you not dead that I followed you. :derpytongue2:

Oddly enough I found myself browsing Spamusement just a few days ago.
