300 followers, also an announcement · 10:46pm Mar 7th, 2015
So I just recently noticed that I hath acquired 302 followers as of today. Yay!
Though if you followed me because you wanted to see more stories, I'm afraid you're going to be very disappointed.
I just can't write horse words anymore. I'm sorry. I've had no new ideas that are horse-related and no inspiration to work on old ones. Things have been this way for a while now, though I've been shying away from announcing it in the hope that it's just a passing block. It's not.
This doesn't mean I'll be leaving the site, mind, or the fandom - I love all my darling mutuals in this hellhole far too much to do that. (Plus I just can't leave my notifications untended for too long. I just can't.) And you bet your booty that I'll be watching Season 5 and hopping on the forums to fangasm about it. I just probably won't be writing about it much.
But who knows? Maybe Season 5 is the jumper cable my pony-writing drive needs to get going again. Maybe I'll get a burst of inspiration tomorrow that makes a liar out of me. But until then, or possibly never, just thought I'd let you know if you've been wondering about my lack of new published yarns.

Nah, not too surprised. Slowdown's been happening to a lot of folks. Barring Rainbow Rocks, it's been a long time since any new pony material's come out, save for the comics (if you haven't been following Friends Forever, do eet) and in that time it's incredibly easy for interest to slide.
I'd say wait for Season 5, see if anything jumpstarts, but even if it doesn't, I'm glad you're at least here.
