Daredevil: Thoughts · 1:11am Apr 16th, 2015
Winter is over.
In the past few weeks we've seen a new season of My Little Pony and Game of Thrones premiere on our silver screens. Bloodborne graces our gaming consoles (provided your gaming console is a PS4) and at the end of this month the long awaited sequel to Marvel's Avengers will grace our golden ones. Yes, spring is here and she is bountiful. But the Netflix original series Daredevil, was an unknown quantity. Of course, anything attached to the Marvel name is sure to be popular, but popularity is not always synonymous with quality. Case in point: Fifty Shades of Grey.
Going into this, I had no expectations, no preconceptions, nothing. I went into this with an open mind and a blank slate. Ready for anything.
That was three days ago.
I have done nothing at all during my free time for the last three days but watch Daredevil.
It is seriously that good.
I'm not going to go into why it's that good, because then I'd have to spoil most--if not all--of the plot. But take my word for it, you need to see Daredevil.
Now.
If Bloodborne was the game to justify the purchase of a PS4, then Daredevil is the show which will justify the purchase of a Netflix account.
