Zero Blogs: Shineverse

That's right. Shineverse,

School is out and my juices are flowing something fierce. And like any author who's completed a work, my thoughts are on the future.

I mean, Shimmer to a Shine was great, and warranted Discovered Attack as a sequel. But the question is: How do I keep expanding my arsenal without suffering sequel burnout? The answer came to me after rewatching the Avengers for the umpteenth time...this week.

Part of the reason the MCU is so popular is because it's not just a group of films, it's a whole world. A world that's constantly evolving and expanding with the Supers that live in it. From the space level with the Guardians of the Galaxy, to the global level with the Avengers, to a street level with Daredevil, it's all one story.

Like I said in Discovered Attack and even at the end of Rainbow Rocks, magic is beginning to integrate into the Human World, and people are taking notice. How would something like that work? How would creatures like Daring Do, Crystal Ponies, the Wendigos, Discord, Chrysalis, or Tirek translate into human form? And how would the government react to such a foreign concept? I want to answer some of these questions.

And one day, someone might make a recursive story of my work.

But until then, the next chapter awaits. This is so much fun for me and hopefully for you guys too. BACK TO ADVENTURE!
